Hollywood Spy Gear That Actually Exists

If you are a spy movie fan like me, you have probably seen all the James Bond and Mission Impossible movies and wondered if all that cool spy equipment they use is real. Well, you’ll be amazed to find out that much of it actually is!

Spy pens, video glasses, GPS trackers, and much more are spy gadgets I used as a counterintelligence agent and continue to use as a private investigator. It is all readily available to you. Check out all of the REAL spy equipment gear you can purchase for your own use.

I am a private investigator, and I use many of these gadgets in my business when conducting investigations.

Video Spy Pens:

I own a variety of spy pens. These little devices look and function just like a regular pen but actually, have a built-in hidden camera. They also have internal memory where the video is stored.

To record, you usually just either click a button on the top of the pen, or press the pen clip, and the spy pen springs into action! Some pens are even capable of recording high definition video!

Spy Sunglasses:

This piece of spy equipment is ultra cool! Spy sunglasses look like everyday sunglasses, but with one small twist – they are capable of recording everything that you see! I use spy sunglasses when I am conducting private investigations.

The nice thing about spy sunglasses is that you don’t have to aim any special devices wherever you want to record video. All you have to do is look at it, and you’ll record what you see! The more advanced models of spy sunglasses also have a wireless remote, so you can secretly start and stop recording.

Spy Camera Caps:

If you don’t want to use the glasses, which by the way also come in regular glasses. You can just throw on your camera baseball cap. This is especially handy if you happen to be indoors and wearing sunglasses doesn’t make sense. You don’t want to lose footage by removing your sunglasses so you can just keep onr ecording with your camera cap.

GPS Trackers:

I have used many Gps trackers in my day. I am sure you are aware of them, but you may not know how advanced they actually are! GPS trackers are an essential part of any spy or private investigations arsenal. The primary purpose of these devices is to transmit someone’s location. This information can be usually viewed from a standard web browser, and even from your smartphone!

Not only can you find out location, but you can also track speed, direction, and even set up “safe zones” that will allow you to be alerted if the target vehicle enters or leaves one of these zones. If you don’t need real-time driving data, the GPS Logger can also be used as a historical tracking device to see where someone has been.

Audio Bugs:

An audio bug is a secret device that records audio, sometimes recording it internally to a recording device, and other times transmitting it live, also known as “eavesdropping.” These audio bug devices can be placed in everything from pens, to flash drives, to even everyday items like clocks. In most states, audio bugs are not allowed unless both parties consent to the recording. So while these products do exist, make sure you check with your state and federal laws before using one just to be safe.

Cell Phone Spy Software:

This is one piece of spy equipment that is being used by people in all walks of life. Teachers, parents, spouses, and employers are just some of the people looking for cell phone spy software. Cell Phone spy software allows you to view call history, email messages, and text messages (even deleted ones!) Depending on the software; you’ll likely have to install the software directly on the phone itself. Once you do this, you can even track the phone’s location with GPS!

Key Loggers:

Keystroke logging often referred to as keylogging or keyboard capturing, is the action of recording (logging) the keys struck on a keyboard, typically covertly, so that person using the keyboard is unaware that their activities are being monitored. Data can then be retrieved by the person operating the logging program. A keylogger can be either software or hardware.

While the programs themselves are legal, with many of them being designed to allow employers to oversee the use of their computers, keyloggers are most often used stealing passwords and other confidential information. I have used one to monitor my daughter’s activities on her computer when she was a teenager.

Software-based keyloggers are computer programs designed to work on the target computer’s software. Families and business people use keyloggers legally to monitor network usage without their users’ direct knowledge. Even Microsoft publicly admitted that the Windows 10 operating system has a built-in keylogger in its final version “to improve typing and writing services.”

However, malicious individuals can use keyloggers on public computers to steal passwords or credit card information. Hardware-based keyloggers do not depend upon any software being installed as they exist at a hardware level in a computer system.

Conclusion:

So this is just a sample of the many spy gadgets available and what you can do with them. If you are like most people looking for spy equipment, you probably have a difficult situation that needs to be addressed and are looking for a solution.

Maybe you are a husband or wife that is looking to find out if your spouse is cheating. Perhaps you are a concerned parent that wants to keep your children safe by monitoring their cell phone or computer, or if you have a young child, you may be looking for a “nanny cam” to watch your home when you are away. Maybe you just want to buy them for fun. Hopefully, this article has given you some ideas about the spy equipment you can use to fit your particular needs.
